Project Rationale and Process:
For this project, I rebranded a bakery to appeal to a young adult audience, a group often overlooked in this market. My concept, Breadwinner, targets young adults who value local, artisan products. Moving away from traditional bakery imagery, Breadwinner incorporates vibrant colors, playful illustrations, and social engagement to attract customers. The brand’s creative, upbeat personality is emphasized through handcrafted elements, including personalized product labels written by the owners for a personal touch.
This fun approach to bakery branding offers opportunities to feature the mascot in social media advertising, content creation, and audience engagement. Much like Crumbl Cookies or Dunkin' Donuts, Breadwinner aims to make local bread a trendy item for young adults to add to their daily shopping list.
