Hi I'm Gabriela, a User Experience(UX) and Graphic designer based in Edmonton, Alberta! In 2023 I graduated from MacEwan University, completing a Bachelor of Design with Distinction.
As a designer, I aim to communicate effectively and creatively problem-solve through my work. My expertise lies in branding and UX/web design.
I am currently the Lead UX Consultant and a Digital Communications Coordinator with the Otipemisiwak Métis Government. Through my work I ensure Citizens are connected through culture, programs, and community wether that be through representation and storytelling on social media or streamlining and creating accessible web experiences for all.
Additionally I have worked with local and international clients creating websites that align with their goals and brand identity.
As a Guatemalan-Canadian my heritage and curiosity have made me passionate about cultural representation and celebrating diverse narratives through collaboration and empathy.
In my free time I enjoy learning how to cook nutritious and tasty meals, pumping iron at the gym and creating through paint or clay.
